OUR MISSION

Partner universities have faculties of education and departments of primary education and mathematics teaching in this
project. In addition, they have teaching staff who conduct courses related to educational sciences and pedagogy. Besides,
they have instructional technologies and/or computer education departments. One of our project partners is an experienced
educational technology company (SDR). They work on digital technologies and robotics applications. Each of the university
partners consists of educational scientists, mathematics teachers and experts working on robots in instructional technology
in their project teams.

SPOLECZNA AKADEMIA NAUK (coordinator of the project)

Społeczna Akademia Nauk – (University of Social Sciences) is one of the leading private universities in Poland having
16.000 students and numerous academic staff. There are 25 departments, including Management, Pedagogy, Psychology Sociology and IT studies. As an educational organization University of Social Sciences promotes multidisciplinary approach, bringing together researchers from a diversity of backgrounds (economics, humanities, artistic, educational science, etc.). Our University has potential to provide support (according to specific roles and tasks assigned within the consortium) to project’s activities having an immense expertise and experienced staff in respective field.
The Institute of Educational Studies prepares teachers to become professional educators, open for challenges of the rapidly changing environment that surrounds us.

LATVIJAS UNIVERSITATE

University of Latvia (UL) with 13,000 students, 13 faculties and more than 20 research institutes is one of the largest comprehensive research universities in the Baltic States with educational and research potential in humanities, social and natural sciences. The only higher education institution from Latvia ranked in the QS Top Universities ranking. UL is especially proud that its degree of internationalization has been recognized as high in several rankings, such as QS Top Universities, Multirank, Interfax ranking.

LBUS University

LBUS is a public institution, established in 1990. The origin of LBUS as an academic institution is recorded in the first months of 1990, immediately after the overturn of the political regime in Romania – therefore LBUS is a young university.
The University of Sibiu became a legal entity by means of the Romanian Government Decree no. 255 of March 5, 1990
which stipulated that the former Sibiu Higher Education Institute changed into an independent University subordinated to the Ministry of Education.

CANAKKALE ONSEKIZ MART UNIVERSITESI

Scuola di Robotica

School of Robotics (Scuola di Robotica) is a non-profit Training and Educational Center Certified by the National Ministry of
Education. Its aim is to promote the knowledge, use of ICT educational applications, and of Educational Robotics. School of
Robotics provides for the widest practicable and appropriate dissemination of information concerning the results of the R&D
in the field of Robotics and of the complementary disciplines: Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Neuroscience,
Design. The aim of the “Scuola di Robotica” is to promote the knowledge of the science of Robotics among students and
young people, in the range of undergraduates, to teachers and the general public.
