International Conference in Çanakkale, 20.02.2025

The ‘Emerging New Technologies in Education’ conference, hosted by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Education, was held on 20th of February 2025 with great participation of 307 attendees. Bringing together educators, researchers and technologists, this event was organised to enhance learning experiences, increase inclusivity in education and promote global collaboration.

The conference was organised with the contributions of international academic institutions such as Spoleczna Akademia NAUK, University of Latvia, Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu and Scuola di Robotics. Presentations were made both in Turkish and English. During the conference, innovative topics such as digitalisation in education, artificial intelligence supported learning systems, AR/VR technologies, blockchain and gamification were discussed.

Seminars on Digital Teaching Supported by Robotics Applications

The seminars for preschool and in-service teachers aimed to promote innovative learning approaches through the application of robotics in primary school mathematics education. All partners have developed content and conducted analysis through literature reviews, as well as individual and teamwork activities, to organize and deliver seminars on Flipped Learning in Robotics Practices in Primary Schools.

All partners have contributed to the crucial subject of digital pedagogy. The seminars were based on the knowledge paper on the digital pedagogy curriculum developed in WP2. Partners discussed and refined the seminar content to ensure its effectiveness.

Seminars were held in each of the partner countries participating in the project, providing educators with hands-on experiences and discussions on integrating robotics into their teaching practices.
